Steve Egbert
Principal Agent
Steve Egbert is the owner of Countryside Insurance Group and Stiver Insurance Agency.
He has been a professional Insurance Agent since 1991. Steve is a 1st Generation insurance agent starting in the Life and Health industry. In December of 2004 Steve entered the Property & Casualty industry writing Farm, Business, Home & Auto. In April of 2012, he started his own Independent Insurance Agency using the name Countryside Insurance Group. Since then Steve has acquired many excellent companies to represent for Farms, Crop, Commercial, Home & Auto. Steve has a deep passion for agriculture and the agriculture community.
When not serving his Insurance clients, Steve and his 2 sons Zachary & Zane operate the family farm of 600 acres of corn and soybeans. In the summer Steve and his boys pull a super modified four wheel drive pulling truck with the Ohio State Tractor Pulling Association. Steve is the first to admit he wouldn’t have been able to achieve any of this without the help and support of his wife Theresa of 28 years.
Zach Egbert
Agent
Zach Egbert serves as our producer with a strong focus on farm, crop and business policies.
His favorite part about his career has been meeting new people and talking to fellow farmers. Zach is happily married to his wife Taylor. They have a dog named Dixie who is full of energy and spoiled rotten. When Zach is not in the office he loves to work on his farm and truck. He also loves attending tractor pulls.
Sara Elsass

Sara Elsass is a Licensed Agent for our team who specializes in personal lines.
Sara’s favorite part of working in the business is helping others meet their insurance needs.
Sara is happily married to her husband, Matthew. She has two children: Zander and Caleb. When she is not in the office, Sara enjoys spending time with her family and hanging out with friends. She loves traveling and going away for mini trips.
Zane Egbert

Zane Egbert is a Licensed Agent for our team. He is recently licensed and has been getting lots of hands on experience.
Zane’s favorite part of working at Countryside is joining in the family business.
